Seen

Terms of use

Effective November 1, 2026.

These are the rules for using Seen. We have kept them short and honest. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What Seen is

Seen is an app for two adults in a relationship to answer one question a day and share the answers with each other. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care or an emergency service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may connect with one partner at a time. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything that happens under your account.

3. Your content

You own what you write. You give us only the limited permission we need to store it, encrypt it, show it to your partner after you have both answered, and let you export or delete it. We never use your content to train or prompt AI systems, and we never sell it.

You agree not to use Seen to threaten, harass, coerce or abuse anyone, to impersonate someone else, to share content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to share, or to interfere with the service. You can report your partner's content or account from inside the app; we review reports and may restrict or end accounts that break these rules.

4. Your partner's content

What your partner shares with you in Seen is personal. Please treat it with care. Seen cannot stop screenshots, so the trust between you is part of the product.

5. Seen Plus and purchases

Some features may be offered as "Seen Plus" through Apple's App Store or Google Play. One purchase covers both partners while you are connected. Prices, renewal terms and trial details are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. The daily question, the reveal, data export, deletion and every safety feature stay free.

6. Ending things

You can request account deletion from the app or the web deletion page; this also ends your connection. Contact support for other relationship or account concerns. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or that we need to close for legal or safety reasons; where we can, we will tell you why.

7. Availability and changes

Seen is made by a very small team. We work hard to keep it running, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and it may change or be discontinued. If we discontinue Seen we will give you a reasonable chance to export your data first.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Makersolo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to Seen is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you also keep the protections of your local law.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
